Gasp ! It is getting nearer and nearer now. I am excited yet very anxious at the same time. My tummy seem to have grown quite a bit in these past weeks. It now takes extra effort to get up and down the floor , even turning in bed does not seem that easy anymore. My butt still hurts if I sit on the chair for too long. Whenever I stand up I feel like a sack of rice has fallen over me and I need to do my 'penguin' walk to even out the weight. I feel more tired lately and I can sleep all the way without getting up to pee. In the mornings, my eyes are shut tight on the trains and I am already stoned whenever I step into office. I guess I have reached the last stage of the pregnancy. My body is working very hard and it is just waiting for the final stage. I just cant wait !
My colleagues said my nose looks so round now ( indication of a baby girl , not sure how true it is ). Just yesterday someone saw my bump and knew straight away I am having a girl. Oh wow how do these people know ?
One of my colleague a mum of two came by and spoke to me awhile ago and give me some tips on breastfeeding. An ex secondary classmate dropped me a note on FB and give me encouragement on the pending journey that we will soon be facing. I am encouraged by all the concerns. And I am ready for this brand new challenge. There is no turning back anyway. Heh.
I feel very blessed to have her in my tummy. It is not something that I expect to happen so quickly. I thought it will take a while to get pregnant. I am really grateful that this gift has been besotted to us. Everything happens for a reason. And I am sure we will love this baby of ours so so very much.
50 days or less to go now Little S !
p.s. Mummy's hospital bag is halfway packed , your clothings are halfway washed .. your room is umm halfway done .. so Papa please tidy up your daughter's room !
