The Birth Plan

Little S's eta is just a mere three months away. I am entering my last trimester very soon and it is time to start and think of my birth plan. I have a few birthing idols whom have given birth without any pain relief. One of them is my mother. She gave birth to me and Alson naturally with no pain relief at all. When I asked her about the experience she just replied nonchalantly " It hurts of course". I was pondering through her reply and keep thinking if it hurts the first time why did she do it the same way the second time ?

This must have meant the pain is bearable.Yes it is BEARABLE. No one actually fainted from the pain right ? Or so I have not heard.

Another of my birthing idol is Rudd's cousin in law. She used hynobirthing method to ease herself during the delivery process. She even attended hynobirthing class to get herself prepared.

The last idol is a colleague at work , she used etonox aka laughing gas and gave birth to her baby girl without any other aid. Though she told me the last few hours the etonox will not work anymore. She survived that last few hours without any more aid which means again the pain is ONCE AGAIN BEARABLE.

I will attempt to be very very brave for Little S's sake , may the mighty one gives me the strength and determination to go through what many mothers go through in the most natural way.
